This page explains what we can and cannot help with, and where to direct questions about official Escambia County criminal records. Most requests belong with a government office, not with us - the routing below sends each record type to the right place.

This Is Not a Government Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot pull criminal records, run official background checks, remove or correct a record, or accept court-ordered expunction or sealing filings for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the right government office directly.

Need an Official Record?

Here's where to look for the records most people ask about in Escambia County:

  • Court case files: see criminal court case records, or contact the clerk of the court that heard the case
  • Criminal records and rap sheets: contact the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE)
  • Arrest reports: contact ECSO Criminal Records or the police agency that made the arrest
  • Booking and jail records: contact Escambia County Corrections
  • Official background checks: order through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE)
  • Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
  • Court-ordered expunction or sealing: begin with the Clerk disposition and FDLE eligibility process
